Ariana Grande saw her debut album 'Yours Truly' soar to No. 1 last September, but she is already back in the game with the followup. Her new single 'Problem,' admittedly about an ex, has landed and she has confirmed that her sophomore set is due in late summer.

"I'm a workaholic, and a perfectionist," Grande told Billboard about not taking much of a rest between albums. "It was a very exciting thing for me to all of a sudden have this new mission, to make something as special as 'Yours Truly,' and to put my time and effort into something new and something I want to make just as good, if not better."

The as-yet untitled album is out in August or September, and Grande claims she loves it "five times as much as I love 'Yours Truly.' They're different, but I love this one so much more." Well, most artists say that when they are promoting a new album, but Grande sounds like she means it.

The sax-driven song is about an ex. It "represents the feeling of being absolutely terrified to re-approach a relationship that's gone sour -- but you want to more than anything," says Grande, admitting it's about an ex with whom she is still figuring things out.

Okay, so that's either Jai Brooks, from whom she split rather acrimoniously, or Nathan Sykes of the Wanted, from whom she says she split amicably after a PDA-filled romance. Since she says that the song is about a relationship gone sour, is it about Brooks? She also said that she was writing songs about Sykes during their relationship.

Hmm. What do you think, Nariana shippers?

She confessed, "In the song, it ends on a sappy, negative note, but in [real] life, we're hoping it's going to end on a positive one. I feel like it's all very honest and human." Okay, Ari, be honest! Which ex is it about? We're dying to know!

Grande is also stepping away from the R&B style of many of the tracks that defined her first effort, drifing into EDM territory. She called the song she did with Zedd "fantastic and super-experimental for me. I never thought I'd do an EDM song, but that was an eye-opening experience, and now all I want to do is dance."
