What's sweeter than a new album from Ariana Grande? How's about an intimate, three-night-only concert series celebrating Grande's forthcoming record, Sweetener?

Well, it's happening!

“Surprise. I’m doing a lil thing called the sweetener sessions to celebrate the release week with @americanexpress,” the 24-year-old pop powerhouse announced on Twitter Wednesday (August 8).

Following the release of her fourth studio album, Sweetener, which drops August 17, Grande will appear at three small room venues in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles to perform special sets in support of the record.

Keeping true to her promise to have something "special" for Arianators on the 20th of each month leading up to Sweetener's release, the "No Tears Left to Cry" vocalist will launch her "Sweetener Sessions" at New York's Irving Plaza on August 20 after MTV's Video Music Awards, at which the musician is to perform "God Is a Woman" and in the running for five trophies.

Other locations include Vic Theatre in Chicago on August 22 and Los Angeles' Theatre at Ace Hotel, where Grande will conclude her shows on August 25. Tickets for "The Sweetener Sessions" are now available to purchase exclusively to American Express Card members.

Meanwhile, you catch her at the 2018 VMAs, broadcasting live at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
