The Internet has been buzzing since Saturday Night Live aired a new promo for this week's episode that shows Pete Davidson making jokes (again) about his recent broken engagement with Ariana Grande. In the video, the comedian stands beside host Jonah Hill and musical guest Maggie Rogers.

"Hey Maggie, I'm Pete," he says in the video. "You wanna get married?"

"No," Rogers replies.

"0 for 3," Davidson jokes, shrugging off the rejection.

Well, Ari didn't take to kindly to her ex-fiancee's jokes and decided to savagely drag him on Twitter.

"for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh," she wrote in one post, referring to Davidson's constant complaints about celebrity. Then she twisted the dagger: "thank u, next," she tweeted.

DANGEROUS WOMAN, INDEED!

And for anyone who thinks maybe the singer's talking about someone else, amid her furious flurry of tweets she also retweeted a clip of the SNL promo, making it clear that she was referring to her ex's joke.

She ended her (since-deleted) Twitter rant with, "k that's the last time we do that."

Davidson, meanwhile, has reportedly been capitalizing on his breakup woes, using his and Grande's split as fodder for jokes while at the SNL offices this week.

TMZ reports that the comedian has been "cracking jokes about jumping into relationships too soon" during brainstorming sessions at NBC, and "even tried to write a sketch about it."

Grande and Davidson famously got engaged in June, only weeks after beginning their relationship. They split up less than four months later.
