We hope you're all excited for a brand new round of Pop Clash! After retiring Rixton's "Hotel Ceiling" to the Pop Clash Hall of Fame this week, we decided to face off Ariana Grande's "One Last Time" against Shawn Mendes' "Never Be Alone." Now it's up to you guys to decide! Which song should win the Pop Clash?

Ariana Grande's "One Last Time" is the dance track of our dreams, with Ariana's vocals coming in strong over synth-pop beats. It's an insanely fun song, even if the lyrics are kind of wistfully said. She sings, "So one last time / I need to be the one who takes you home / One more time / I promise after that, I'll let you go / Baby, I don't care if you got her in your heart / All I really care is you wake up in my arms," and it's a totally relatable feeling. It's vulnerable to admit you want to be with someone just one more time, even if it's just temporary and you know their heart is with someone else.

As for "Never Be Alone," by Shawn Mendes, the track has a decidedly different sound. It's a guitar-driven track, with more of a folk-pop element to it, but the theme is similar to Ariana's track. There's an underlying sadness that comes with the idea of giving part of yourself to another person that we can totally relate to.

Which song should win the Pop Clash? You can vote for Ariana Grande's "One Last Time" or Shawn Mendes' "Never Be Alone" once an hour until the polls close at 3PM ET on March 9. Happy voting!
