Shortly after she debuted her new single "Focus" back in October, Ariana Grande embraced her Disney-loving inner child for her soulful cover of "Zero to Hero" from Hercules. The song appears on the newest installment of the We Love Disney compilation series, which features other contemporary artists like Gwen Stefani, Fall Out Boy, Kacey Musgraves, Jessie J, and many others covering songs from classic Disney films from Alice in Wonderland to Frozen.

On Christmas Day, Grande performed her cover of "Zero to Hero" live for the first time at the Disney Christmas Day Parade, which took place at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando. Grande took center stage directly in front of Cinderella's Castle, backed by a full gospel choir. She sported a simple black top, a silver bubble skirt adorned with white pom poms, and a Mickey ears headband.

Grande's vocals shine through the entire performance, combining both skill and playfulness—a perfect combination for a Disney audience passionately singing along with her while decked out in Christmas attire.

The lyrics of "Zero to Hero" are a bit of a mouthful at times, but Grande executes them flawlessly, especially lines like "Folks lined up / Just to watch him flex / And his perfect package packed a pair of pretty pecs." Try singing that fives times fast!

The best moment of Grande's performance comes during the soul and jazz-infused breakdown that has everyone on and off-stage clapping along: "Who put the ‘glad’ in ‘gladiator’? / Hercules!"

Following her killer rendition of "Zero to Hero," Grande also performed her hit single "Focus," complete with dance moves and backup dancers wearing silver sparkling Mickey ears.
