It seems incredible that YouTube sensation Christina Grimmie could be only 17, given her powerful, husky voice and sharp, clever songwriting which make her seem wise beyond her years.
But by building a growing online fan base who fell in love with Grimmie's YouTube covers into a fan base of over a million subscribers, she grabbed a spot opening on Selena Gomez's summer tour — and her independent EP, 'Find Me,' debuted at 35 on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at the plum spot of 11 on the digital albums chart.
Now hard at work on her upcoming album, Grimmie remains unsigned to a major label but we expect that to change before too long. She has way too much talent to be anything but a huge star. -- Sam Lansky
