The female vocal ensemble Fifth Harmony, who were assembled during the audition phase, One Direction-style, are a pack of divas, so on tonight's (Nov. 14) episode of 'X Factor,' which focused on the music of divas, was smack dab in fivesome's wheelhouse. They went big -- since this is a "go big or go home, literally" show -- and performed a layered version of Mariah Carey's 'Hero.' It was a tough song, but the five-piece handled it well.

Dressed in all white like angels, the cherubic ladies have taken to each other like fish to water. They are bonding, as we saw in the pre-performance news package, admitting that they spend all of their time together. Perhaps that's why their performance of the Carey ballad was so pretty. They just mesh in all the right ways.

"Maybe there is a chance that five girls with brilliant voices could win the show?" Simon Cowell, their mentor, mused aloud. He praised them for working hard and for loving puppies.

Who doesn't love puppies?

L.A. Reid thought they started off slow, but felt they rebounded flawlessly and he liked the performance, overall.

Could Fifth Harmony be the next 1D? They are following the same formula and trajectory, so they could be! Move over, 1D. There's 5H!
