A$AP Rocky's had quite a week. Following his smoldering (and booty-grabbing) opening of the MTV Video Music Awards with Rihanna, the emcee is dishing on his upcoming record -- and why it may not be out as early as he'd like it to be.

"I'm really shooting to have my album come out on Halloween, with the grace of God, but if not around that time, it's gonna be later this fall," Rocky told MTV. "Hopefully, if I can reach the deadline." With a face like his, we forgive him. Plus, Rock promises it'll be worth the wait.

Rocky assured, "I really feel good about this, I really feel deeply good about this, because I put my all into it, and it's a different aspect of me. It's just showing my capabilities and how much of an artist I really am — not just a rapper." So it's worth the wait? You bet. Before 'Long.Live.A$AP' hits shelves, Rocky plans on releasing another single pretty shortly -- and he knows of three that will be released from the record eventually.

"A year ago if I would've told people I'm gonna make you wait a year to drop my [album], they probably would've been pissed," Rocky admitted. "Now that the time has come I think everybody's gonna be happy with it."
