Ashley Tisdale may play a diva in her newest flick 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure,' but in real life, the actress is a sweetheart. In a recent interview, Tisdale talked about how she loved working with dogs while filming the movie, but she had to learn how to exercise a lot of patience with them at times.

In 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure,' Ashley Tisdale portrays her 'High School Musical' character Sharpay Evans as she moves to New York City to hit it big, but her dog Boi ends up stealing the spotlight. Tisdale had to work with two Yorkshire Terriers on the set, and although it could be frustrating at times for the actress, she grew attached to the pooches.

"The dogs are really cute in the movie. It was fun working with dogs, but you have to have a lot of patience," Tisdale says on the English talk show 'Daybreak.' "They are just animals so they don't understand that much and these two dogs -- it was their first project ever. They were trained, like, a month before but they were so good and so adorable, you can’t help but fall in love with them."

Tisdale also went to discuss 'High School Musical' and the success it brought to her and her cast mates.  "It's weird, it was the best time because all of us were really good friends and we had such a good time filming those movies and we had no idea they would become so successful," she says. "I feel so lucky and blessed and we have to thank the fans for that ... Sharpay was such a great character to play and she is so much fun."

'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure' is out on DVD now. Fans of Tisdale's sassy character can also purchase the soundtrack to the movie by clicking here.
