A new commercial for the video game 'Assassin's Creed III' features a piano-laden pop song from a hip-hop artist alongside images of colonial-era fighting taken from the game itself. What's the song featured in the ad?

The familiar tune is 'Coming Home' by Diddy Dirty Money, the R&B project featuring rapper Diddy and vocalists Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. The track features guest vocals from singer-songwriter Skylar Grey. So far, Diddy Dirty-Money have released one album, 'Last Train to Paris,' and 'Coming Home' was their biggest hit, reaching No. 11 and helping the trio win Best Group at the 2011 BET Awards.

The commercial opens with the description, "American colonies, 1770" and depicts British redcoats with guns trying to contain a mob of angry American colonists. "All we wanted was our freedom!," one man shouts, just before Grey's opening lines of 'Coming Home' begin playing.

The song continues throughout the 60-second spot next to images of battleships, soldiers on horses, and Native Americans fighting side by side with colonists. The game incorporates a bit of history, with images of historic figures like George Washington, Ben Franklin and Paul Revere.

An earlier Assassin's Creed III trailer featured the music of indie artist Bat for Lashes. The game is currently scheduled for a late October release on PlayStation and Xbox and a November release for Microsoft Windows.
