Austin Mahone celebrated his birthday a little early by playing a special show for a lucky group of fans in Indianapolis yesterday (April 3).

The "All I Ever Need" singer performed his hit "What About Love" at the Lucas Oil Stadium to ring in Reese’s Final Four Friday, which is a special event that allows college basketball fans see their favorite Final Four team practice before their big games during the March Madness tournament. And being a basketball fan himself, Austin was more than happy to be a part of it.

Not only did he perform, but Austin also got a special surprise with a rendition of "Happy Birthday" from the crowd that made him blush. BTW, Austin turns 19 today (April 4)!

Not only did Mahomies love him, but it looks like even NFL player Pat McAfee is now a fan. The Indianapolis Colts punter admitted that he didn't know who the singer is. However after seeing his videos, he's now part of the Mahomie crew.

"We're under the Mahone rock a little bit, but he's a talented guy and he's going to put on a great show," McAfee said in an interview on Friday. "But I don't think he was trying to win me over. So I think it's completely acceptable that we didn't know who he is, but now I'm his biggest fan!"

Austin clearly had a blast at the basketball event and thanked the crowd for all the love. "Haven't performed in a while, it felt good :)" he captioned an Instagram photo from the performance.

See more clips of his performance below and a special birthday greeting from Rocco Valdes, who co-founded Chase Records where Austin is signed.
