Austin Mahone took to Twitter to debut a new song today (Oct. 28), much to the delight of his many Mahomies. The YouTube description for the song says: "Here's a new song me and Robert wrote since we've been in the new house! Hope you like it."

The song, titled 'Places,' is a slick R&B crooner, with a steady beat that incorporates a surprise piano riff toward the very end of the song. It has a sensual, romantic sound, which goes perfectly with Austin's dreamy vocals.

Austin sings to a girl about being on his way back to her after a long stint on the road. He tells her to stick with him, because even though it's been hard, their relationship is ultimately worth it: "Patience girl, I know I been gone, I been on the road / I know that you been waiting / Stuck in a small town and you're feeling all alone / You're going through these phases / Hold it down girl cause you I'll come for you / I know you've been frustrated / Give it time, I swear we'll make it through." Don't worry, Austin, there's no way she won't wait for you after hearing that!
