When Rihanna's latest single 'Cheers (Drink to That)' impacted the airwaves, listeners who weren't already familiar with the tune probably took note of the familiar "yeah, yeah's" that chime throughout the chorus. That distinct voice belongs to Avril Lavigne, of course, as the island-inspired tune samples her melancholy ballad 'I'm With You.' Now, people are buzzing about Lavigne possibly making a cameo in Rihanna's video for 'Cheers,' which is set to premiere tomorrow, Aug. 26.

An insider close to the Canadian songstress told ABC News Radio that "Avril did film a cameo for the clip -- whether it made the final cut is not certain." We wonder if Avril will appear throughout the video, as her voice is played throughout the chorus and really lends a lot to the overall tone and mood of the track.

A teaser clip of the 'Cheers (Drink to That)' video hit the Internet recently, and Ms. Lavigne is nowhere in sight. However, what we do see if an arena full of fans chanting RiRi's name as she preps her lovely self for a concert. Fireworks erupt at the end of the clip, leaving us wanting more, more, more! Fingers crossed for a cameo from Avril too, since both girls have a 'I don't give a f---' kind of attitude and it would be exciting to them together in person. We hope she looks as divalicious as Rihanna does, as well.
