Avril Lavigne Releases ‘Give You What You Like’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Avril Lavigne just dropped the trailer for her 'Give You What You Like' video -- and it's like nothing we've ever seen from the singer!

Avril kicked off her career more than 10 years ago with the say-it-like-it is 'Complicated.' She followed up the hit with her pop-punk 'Sk8er Boi' and never looked back. However, 'Give You What You Like' is a complete departure from the fast-paced, in-your-face nature of so many of her tracks -- and we're obsessed.

The 30-second clip shows Avril wearing a black outfit and hat, singing a gorgeous, ballad-type track. Interposed with shots of her singing are scenes at a police station, although it's not clear exactly what's happening.

And then there's the lyrics. "I get stars in my eyes / Is this love? / Maybe someday / I've got the scene in my head / I'm not sure how it ends / Is it love? / Maybe one day / So don'’t turn on the lights / I'll give you what you like," she sings.
