Avril Lavigne plugs in her electric guitar, rocks bright green hair extensions and declares, "You know that I'm a crazy b----" in her video for 'Smile' from her latest album, 'Goodbye Lullaby.' If there's one thing Avril Lavigne knows how to do, it's make an entrance.

Throughout the punchy 'Smile' video, Avril is in full-on punk rock (or is it pink rock?) mode, dressed in all black, with an armful of rubber bracelets, a pair of Chuck Taylors, tons of smoky black eyeliner, pinky lip gloss, fingerless gloves and, of course, a tiara. It's one of her most upbeat anthems and she is the punk rock princess. For the most part, she's all smiles when she's frolicking on the floor and knuckling down on her axe.

Overall, the video is a boldly visual clip that shifts between scenes splashed with color, like the neon green and white room where Avril spends her time rocking the hell out, and the black and white plot footage where Avril is strolling through town, picking up pieces of red glass, which is the only color in those particular parts. The red shards eventually turn out to be the pieces of a heart.

It's a cute, youthful and loose video that reminds us why we were crushing on Avril Lavigne in the first place. She's so spunky and spirited and she offers a dose of punk rock to the mainstream music scene where she largely camps out.
