Azealia Banks' proper debut album 'Broke With Expensive Taste' finally arrives later this year, and the controversial singer has dropped the wild first single, 'Yung Rapunxel.'

After she posted the track on Soundcloud, Banks tweeted, "Yung Rapunxel is a mad scientist," and that's an apt description for the song, which stitches together EDM beats, computerized effects, and vocals from Banks that range from whispers to subdued rap verses to expletive-filled shrieks. The single art appropriately shows three screaming mouths on her face.

One thing's for sure: Banks is not trying to cater to Top 40 radio with this song. But she'll certainly get played in dance clubs with this infectious beat.

The creative track is a promising start for the Harlem singer's upcoming studio album, which has much of the music world buzzing, aside perhaps from all those artists Banks has dissed on Twitter, including Rita Ora, Angel Haze, Baauer, and Stone Roses, to name a few.

'Broke With Expensive Taste' does not have a confirmed release date yet. Banks has been working with Lady Gaga on a couple of tracks, though at last report those were targeted for Gaga's album.
