The Beastie Boys will transmogrify into action figures -- read: Not dolls -- in the forthcoming video for 'Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win' video. It will be directed by their esteemed colleague Spike Jonze, who shot 'Sabotage,' which is one of the Boys' most famous and best recognized videos.

This marks the second video from 'Hot Sauce Committee Part Two,' the first of which was the short film/extended video 'Make Some Noise / Fight For Your Right (Revisited.)' The vid for 'Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win' is coming in July and the group posted a message on their blog, revealing that "Both short and epic length videos" were made.

The trio also offered a declarative statement about their status as action figures, writing: "It features action figures of us ... And yes, they are ACTION figures, NOT dolls!" Okay, figures not dolls. Point taken, guys!

In the clip, MCA, Mike D and Ad-Rock will become action figures along with guest vocalist Santigold.

And what an action-packed video it will be! We've been tipped off that a team of assassins are in hot pursuit of the Boys and Santigold in the clip, with the goal of termination. But the foursome don't go down easy and refuse to be taken out, managing one escape after another over land, sea and air as they manage to evade and elude snipers, zombies, sharks and other deadly forces.
