Does Becky G Love Austin Mahone? The Singer Spills Details

Last month, Austin Mahone confirmed what we all suspected: he and Becky G are an item. Now, Becky is also opening up about her budding romance with The Secret singer, saying he’s “very cute.”

“I’ve known him for such a long time,” she told E! News. “We started off as really great friends and we’d always check in on each other… and we’d always get in the studio together. You grow up and things happen and here we are.”

Aside from teaming up in the studio, the pair also collaborated on Becky's “Lovin’ So Hard” music video, which features the “Shower” singer and Mahone enjoying a flirty day in the sun.

However, Becky isn’t quite ready to commit to the L-word. “Am I in love? I’m young,” the 18-year-old singer continued. “I’m doing what young people should do, is having fun. I’m having fun.”

While Becky may be dodging the "love" label for now, she did confess she’s “in such a happy, good place.” Aw!

As for all those studio collaborations with Mahone, Becky says new music is definitely on the way. “More music with Austin? Yeah,” she said. “We actually, not so long ago, [were] in the studio working on a song that hopefully will make it to my new album. And then we continue to make music together. So hopefully it gets out for the fans to hear it. I know they’re excited about it.” Yes, we are!

Austin previously offered his own thoughts on their relationship, saying, “Yeah, you could say we’re dating,” adding, “I never had, like, a real relationship before, so it’s pretty crazy. It’s great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other, we understand what we do.”
