We have to hand it to COVERGIRL. The drugstore cosmetics brand really has chosen some seriously edgy and cool celebs as spokesmodels. The latest addition to the crop of COVERGIRLS is 16-year-old urban pop cutie Becky G. She's the latest to be easy, breezy and beautiful.

Becky joins Pink, Queen Latifah, Nervo and more as a brand rep. Becky From the Block just wrapped her first shoot and will be appearing in both TV and print ads this summer.

Beasters, which is her affectionate nickname for fans, will be able to learn more about her personal style and makeup looks via COVERGIRL's YouTube page and beyond.

Miss G -- that stands for "Gomez"-- is making it her personal mission to bring the COVERGIRL confidence and essence to "chicas" the world over.

“I think it’s really cool that COVERGIRL is giving me this opportunity to inspire other girls to work it, own it, love it no matter what you’re like or where you’re from because that’s what being beautiful is all about,” the teen said in a statement. “Even when I’m in sweatpants, if I have makeup on, I feel like I can rock the world.”

Esi Eggleston Bracey, the VP and GM of COVERGIRL revealed why the brand teamed up with Becky G, saying the singer is "such a relatable and powerful role model, who, from a very young age, has advocated individualism and paying respect to where you come from and where you want to go. She’s a smart, motivated and strong-willed young woman who knows exactly what she wants to do in life, and it’s that attitude that the COVERGIRL brand loves about her and identifies with. Becky is a star on the rise, and we’re excited to welcome her into the COVERGIRL family."

She will debut looks from the brand's collections, playing with products like the Flamed Out Mascara, the Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balm, the Outlast Stay Brilliant Glosstinis and more. Easy, breezy, beautiful indeed.
