Becky G to Join Demi Lovato on Tour

Demi Lovato has announced that rising star Becky G will be joining her for select shows on the Demi World Tour, which begins Sept. 6 in Baltimore, Md.

Idolator reports that Lovato announced the latest addition to her tour while appearing on 'Good Morning America' and 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' on Friday.

"I just found out that Becky G is going to come and do a few shows," Lovato told Fallon while on the show. "I'm really excited." The exact dates and shows have yet to be announced.

Earlier in the week, Becky G had told Idolator before the Teen Choice Awards that she would look forward to collaborating with Lovato someday.

"I was in the same room as her the other day and just seeing the way she talks and how cool she is, I just love that about her!" the 17-year-old pop star admitted.

Becky G will be joining Christina Perri and MKTO, both of whom have already been announced as opening acts. The Demi World Tour is scheduled to go around the United States and Canada from Sept. 6 to Oct. 27 before heading to the U.K. on Nov. 16.
