Before Lady Gaga was covering herself in fake blood in front of millions and throwing her paws up for equality, she was just your average New York City girl working as a waitress.

In 2009, the 'Born This Way' songstress told Elle magazine (via Access Hollywood) about her waitressing gig, saying, "I was really good at it. I always got big tips." Being the kind-hearted, caring person she is combined with her work ethic, we can only imagine Gaga was the best waitress in the Big Apple.

However, some things haven't changed for Gaga. Even back then, she was always putting her fashion foot forward. "I always wore heels to work!" she said. "I told everybody stories, and for customers on dates, I kept it romantic. It’s kind of like performing."
