Watch Behind-the-Scenes Footage From Kimbra’s ‘Two Way Street’ Video
You may not know Kimbra by name yet, but you will. You’ve heard her honeyed voice in Gotye‘s smash hit ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ and now, she has shared behind-the-scenes footage of her Matthew Rolston-directed video for ‘Two Way Street.’ It’s her first U.S. video and she’s certainly capturing our attention with this intimate, sneak peek.
The BTS footage comes before the actual video, mind you. But don’t you just love her jet black hair, complete with bangs, and those oxblood red lips? She’s so striking and certainly stands out with her thick, full brows, too.
While filming, she says, “The sun is shining. it’s going to look really special. I am wearing a fun jacket.” What a life, right?
She frolics on the grass and shows herself to be such a head-turner through and through. It’s those lips,we tell ya. We love watching her as she prances around in strapless mini dresses with full skirts, like an edgy ballerina. We can’t look away.
The Aussie singer, 22, engaged in a little Q+A with Glamour. What did we learn about her? The random things she keeps on her at all times are safety pins for fashion emergencies. “I’m usually altering my clothes or stage dresses before a show, so I never know when I might need them,” she said. Kimbra is also a chocoholic, which is something she admitted when asked about her fave cocktail. “I used to get a Toblerone cocktail in Melbourne which was pretty delish. I’m a sucker for chocolate in any form,” she said.
She isn’t obsessed with any website, but she does refer to YouTube and Wikipedia as her libraries for “when I need inspiration.”
