Musician Bei Maejor may not be a household name, yet, but you have listened to his music. The Grammy-nominated producer-singer has created songs for such artists as Trey Songz, Tinie Tempah and Monica. Now he's venturing out on his own as a solo artist signed to RCA Records. The Ann Harbor, Michigan native is expected to drop his debut album in 2012.

On latest song, 'The Truth,' Maejor spins a deceptive tale about a one-stand with a beautiful woman who is now pregnant. But there's a problem -- the woman is his best friend's girlfriend. "The truth is that I wish it never happened / Wish that I could rewind / Wish that I could take it back and / Red lipstick places you cannot imagine / cell phone buzzin' on the dresser she ain’t answer / Knowin' it was a mistake, we just couldn’t think straight," he rap-sings on the track.

Clearly, this isn't your typical love song as Maejor is tackling some real heavy subject matter -- love, infidelity and betrayal. His atmospheric productions also adds to the suspense and honesty of the record.

There's no word if this song will appear on his upcoming RCA Records debut, but if Maejor continues to make intriguing songs like 'The Truth,' he will definitely be major in 2012.
