Benji Madden decided to cement his devotion to his new wife, Cameron Diaz, by permanently inking her name across his chest -- you know, in case the wedding wasn't proof enough of his love for her. Taking to Instagram today (Feb. 23), Benji posted a photo of his new tattoo, which is a scripted version of the name Cameron emblazoned in black in the middle of his chest.

The couple is super low-key, so it's an interesting and very public way for Benji to let everyone know just how serious he is about his love for Cameron. According to a source at PEOPLE, the two spent Valentine's Day having a long dinner with fellow pals Nicole Richie and her husband, Benji's brother Joel Madden. The source said, "[Cameron] seemed excited to be celebrating her first Valentine's Day with Benji. They had a fun, three-hour dinner with Nicole and her husband."

Benji and Cameron surprised the entertainment world by getting married on Jan. 5 in a super secret ceremony at Cameron's Beverly Hills home, which was even more of a shock than their engagement. Cameron famously noted in the past that she simply wasn't interested in getting married, saying to Esquire back in 2012 that marriage (quote via the Huffington Post), "just wasn’t a thing I was drawn to.” But the two announced their engagement after dating for less than a year in Dec. 2014 and were married less than a month later. Talk about a whirlwind romance!

No word yet from Cameron as to how she feels about the tattoo, but Benji is clearly head-over-heels, as he captioned the photo "Thinking bout you #LuckyMan." Aww!
