We're just going to throw this one out there: who better to make a Christmas album of classic covers than the stars of the hit television show 'Glee?' It's kind of a no-brainer.

Six of the 12 songs from the album appeared on the show's episode 'A Very Glee Christmas,' and devoted fans may notice a slight difference in Matthew Morrison's cover of 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch' from that of the televised version. What might that be? The opening lyric in the episode features 'Sue the Grinch' instead of 'Mr. Grinch' - it's an appropriate addition, since Sue Sylvester doesn't appear to be on anyone's nice list.

Impressively, it went on to chart at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, and the single 'O Holy Night' debuted at No. 1 on the Holiday Digital Songs chart. Not too bad for a show that was only in its second season at the time!
