As if performances by Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown weren't enough of an incentive to tune in to the 2015 BET Awards, a few new additions to the roster mean you have no excuse to skip out.

The show, which airs Sunday night at 8PM EST on BET, has just tapped Janelle Monae, Tyga, Robin Thicke and K. Michelle as additional performers. Fetty Wap, Tori Kelly and Tinashe are scheduled to set the stage on fire, too, while Laverne Cox, Zendaya and Kelly Rowland will all appear as presenters.

The awards will also present Janet Jackson, who recently announced a brand new tour, with the Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual award. Jason DeruloTinashe and Ciara will pay homage to the star in a special choreographed dance number as accompaniment.

Plus, the legendary Smokey Robinson will get his moment in the sun, as BET will honor the R&B/pop singer with a lifetime achievement award.

So, who will walk away winners? We'll have to wait and see, but Centric Award nominee (and previous winner) Jazmine Sullivan told PopCrush she's excited by what the category signifies.

"For me, I think of it as being a bit eccentric and eclectic," she shared. "It’s kind of how I would describe my music, it’s a mixture of a lot of things. It’s not just one genre, because I love music and I love doing a lot of different styles of music."

What do you think of this year's lineup? Be sure to tune in, check back with PopCrush for coverage and catch the “Live! Red! Ready! The BET Awards Pre-Show” before the show at 6PM EST.
