By now we've all gotten used to the silver screen duo that is Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. After all, the two have starred together in four films over the past four years: 2012's Silver Linings Playbook, 2013's American Hustle, 2014's Serena, and the upcoming 2015 flick Joy. Now, however, it looks like Bradley has set his sights on a new leading lady: Beyonce.

According to Page Six, The Hangover actor is moving full steam ahead with his upcoming directorial debut, a remake of the 1937 classic American film A Star Is Born, which he reportedly took over from Clint Eastwood. Sources tell Page Six that the titular star at the center of the flick will be played by none other than Queen Bey.

The rumors of her involvement come just three years after the singer-actress reportedly dropped out of the film reboot back in 2012, when it was announced it would be helmed by Eastwood. Since then, Eastwood has dropped the project and, as sources confirm to Page Six, "Beyonce is a go" once again. The movie likely wont begin filming until the end of 2016 or early 2017.

Of course, this wont be the first time Beyonce has graced the big screen in a leading role. In 2006, she famously played the role of HDIC (Head Dreamgirl In Charge) Deena Jones in the musical film version of Dreamgirls. She also starred in the 2009 thriller flick Obsessed alongside Idris Elba, which she also co-produced.

A Star Is Born was remade twice back in the 20th century, first with Judy Garland in 1954 and then with Barbra Streisand in 1976. Though Bey's got some seriously big (and in one case, ruby red) shoes to fill, we have a hunch she'll do just fine.
