Beyonce's beautiful visage will grace the cover of the August/September issue of Complex, which hits stands on Aug. 9. The cover is a striking image of the Queen B -- and really, when doesn't she turn our heads with her goddess-like gorgeousness?

Be was photographed by Thierry Le Goues and she stares at us with that patented, "come hither" look. The accompanying spread is a mix of sexy black and white and color photos with a high-fashion bend to it.

Can we just say that we love that Be has been rocking natural waves and curls as she promotes '4'? She's letting her hair down in more ways then one, and this Complex cover is another spread that reminds us that Beyonce isn’t afraid of change. She is trying unfamiliar things as she guides her own career and creates music that deviates from the slick and polished pop she is known for.

In the feature, Beyonce actually addresses her knack for singles and while '4' has not yet yielded the type of mega smash that the singer is known for -- she's okay with her approach to singing and her formula for choosing her songs, regardless of how big they become. Oftentimes, she personally prefers deeper album cuts, not the ones you and I are used to hearing on the radio 100 times a day!

"I've found that with hit records the melody and lyrics come together [naturally]," she said. "I usually know from the hook if the song is something that transcends language, race and genre, and if it's something that affects pop culture. It's something I can visualize people singing in stadiums all over the world. But my favorite songs on my albums are usually not my singles."

Bey also offered her opinion on the music of her hubby, rap mogul Jay-Z. Mrs. Shawn Carter said, "Jay's music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations. All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving and I can see lyrics floating above his head and I think, 'Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?'"

We're gonna go out on a limb here and say that we bet Jay-Z feels the same about his lovely wife.
