Update: Back by popular (maybe?) demand, Knowles is once again holding his superstar boot camp in 2015.

Ever wonder what it takes to be Beyonce? It’s more than a teaspoon of incredible vocals, a cup of the X factor and a dash of ‘Bootylicious.’ But don’t worry — her dad Mathew Knowles is willing to share the secret ingredient.

The music icon may not have a working or personal relationship with her father anymore, but that doesn’t mean Mr. Knowles is out of the picture completely. He’s using his experience managing (and allegedly embezzling from) his daughter and Destiny’s Child to teach a community college course in Houston, Texas called “The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?”

“I’ve been in the music and entertainment business more than 20 years and I know how it works,” reads a quote from Knowles on the college’s website. “I am able to save someone who wants to know what to do to get in a lot of legwork and time … time that it took me years to learn.”

According to the same site, the day-long boot camp is intended to provide industry knowledge for “current or aspiring entertainers, songwriters, musicians, composers, writers, producers, managers, sound or engineering technicians, publicists, attorneys, financial planners, fashion stylists, hair dressers, photographers, editors, accountants and a myriad of other entertainment-industry hopefuls.”

We’re curious to know how he’ll cram topics relevant to such a wide variety of careers into a single Saturday, but it is a boot camp, meaning it could get pretty intense.

Knowles is offering the course for $295 per person in advance, or $350 per person at the door. It’s first-come, first-served, so all Beyonce-aspirers should book a spot now.
