During yesterday’s Super Bowl halftime show (Feb. 3), Beyonce reunited with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a highly anticipated performance by Destiny’s Child. And according to Us Weekly, Bey switched up the setlist at the last minute, replacing ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ – one of the R&B group’s smash hits – with ‘Bootylicious.’

Although ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ was their first No. 1 single, the source revealed that "It turned out to be too slow and wasn't flowing with the rest of the set.” ‘Bootylicious,’ on the other hand, "was a better way to introduce the girls with their names. It worked so much better."

Additionally, they decided to forego their “newly” recorded single ‘Nuclear’ in favor of ‘Independent Women Part 1’ followed by Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies.’

The leather-clad ladies took the setlist changes in stride and rocked the stage last night, and Bey was sure to express her heartfelt gratitude.

“What a proud day for AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN!!!!!” she exclaimed in a handwritten note she shared via Instagram. “Kelly, Michelle, Alicia, Jhud. You are all beautiful, talented and showed so much class! It was an honor to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies. Love Beyonce.”
