Beyonce beat out Kelly Rowland and Mary J. Blige in the Female R&B/Soul Artist category at the 2011 American Music Awards, winning the most fan votes to earn her the Favorite title. Robin Thicke and British songstress Ellie Goulding presented the award, but Queen Bey wasn't in there to accept in person.

Although Beyonce couldn't be there because she is currently promoting her 'Live at Roseland' concert film in New York City, she sent a video message to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The mommy-to-be sounded humble as she said, "Thank you very, very much. I'm so excited about this award because it was voted by all of my fans and I have the best fans in the world. You guys are actually the only people I want to thank."

Beyonce definitely deserves this award, as she released her album '4' this year and has been performing and working on numerous other projects while carrying her first child with hubby Jay-Z! Despite her busy schedule, Beyonce is nothing but thankful for her success. She closed her speech with this sweet little message: "I wish I could be there and I hope you guys enjoy your evening."
