The truth shall set Beyonce free during her tell-all interview with Oprah that is set to premiere tomorrow night (Feb 16.). The pop superstar will finally talk about giving her dad the heave-ho as her manager and what makes her relationship with Jay-Z so strong.

Back in 2010, Beyonce made the difficult decision to sever ties with her father as a business partner. Bey said, "It took a while for me and my dad to have an understanding. When I turned 18 and started handling my business more, he went into shock. And we had our issues. I'd say 'no' to something, and he'd book it anyway. Then I'd have to do it because I'd look bad [if I didn't]."

Firing Mathew Knowles would obviously put a strain on their father/daughter dynamic, but as Queen B put it, "When you’re trying to have an everyday conversation with your family you have to talk about scheduling and you have to talk about your album and performing and touring. It’s just too stressful and it really affects your relationship.... I wanted my dad."

The notoriously guarded pop star also talked about her relationship with hubby Jay-Z, saying their marriage would have never worked had they not been strictly friends first. The 'Love on Top' songstress remarked she enjoys having Jay as someone that she just likes to be around. Aww! They are totally in lurve!

Oprah also joked with Beyonce saying, "I remember the first time you were on the Oprah show and I told you, 'Don't go around telling people who you're dating. I think you took that all the way!" Zing! Score one for Oprah! Girl has still got it!
