Back in October, a whole platter of big name stars came together to honor Michael Jackson, including '4' chart-topper Beyonce. While we got a sneak peek of the afro-sporting superstar covering 'I Wanna Be Where You Are' at the time, the entire performance has since surfaced.

"I remember seeing Michael Jackson for the first time," Bey recalled after being introduced by Jackson's three kids. "Lord knows I fell in love. Watching him, I realized exactly what I wanted to be. He inspired me so much.

Beyonce continued, "As a matter of fact, the first song I ever performed with Destiny's Child was a Jackson 5 song. It's called 'I Wanna Be Where You Are.' It was the song we auditioned to get our record deal. It was the beginning of our future. I love you forever, Michael Jackson."

From there, the mom-to-be shot into an earth rumbling performance of the classic tune, dancing about the stage in stilettos and a (very) mini gold dress with matching earrings, looking as if she just waltzed out of the '70s in an over-sized afro wig.

We just know that if MJ were still around to see Bey pay tribute to him, he'd give her a gloved thumbs up for knocking it out of the park.
