Even a beloved diva like Beyonce has moments where she's worried about public perception. Case in point: her pregnancy. She kept the fact that she was preggers a bit of a secret, ultimately revealing the news on the red carpet of the 2011 VMAs. But in the days leading up to the big announcement, Bey was concerned that the secret would slip.

"The whole time I definitely was thinking, 'Everyone knows, everyone can see,'" Bey said before her new DVD 'Live at Roseland: Elements of '4'" was screened in NYC on Sunday (N0v. 20), according to Billboard.

Beyonce was in the early stages of pregnancy when she filmed the DVD during her four-night, sold out residency at the famed Roseland Ballroom, and she was worried that it would be painfully obvious that she was expecting. Not just due to her bulging baby bump, but because being with child affects the body in many ways.

"When you're pregnant, it's a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time," Bey said. We can't imagine all that singing and dancing while in a dangerously short dress and heels while carrying a baby. Bey is a trooper and an example to us all!

The Queen B also believes that the DVD will be a special keepsake for her unborn baby, since he/she was in utero during the performance and will think "I can't believe I was in that belly," according to his/her mom. Aw!

Who needs a sonogram snapshot when you can see yourself, nestled in Mommy's womb, on stage, performing to thousands of adoring fans!
