Beyonce will cover the April 2013 issue of Shape, showing off her post-Blue Ivy body. Bey is banging, as always, pouring her curvy frame into a two-piece swimsuit.

She looks like she is about to go on a scuba diving expedition in this color-blocked bikini, doesn’t she? It's super sporty.

In the feature, King Bey talks about how she dropped nearly 60 pounds after birthing baby Blue. Turns out that she didn't have a choice to leisurely shed the excess weight since she had booked a major concert performance (at Revel in Atlantic City, N.J.) shortly after welcoming her bundle of joy. Bey had to get into fighting shape and down to her fighting weight.

"I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again," the singer said.

The diva was quick to point out that "I’m not a person that is naturally very thin," which means she is just like the rest of us. She has to get on the treadmill and grind it out to stay in shape ... just the like the rest of us. "I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape," she confessed.

Bey is lucky since her job forces her to get her in shape. Her dance workouts help her stay slim and trim. But she knows that's not ideal for everyone and offered a little nugget of suggestion for others who have to work to stay in shape. "I would just say, everyone is not supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you," Mrs. Carter said.
