Call it a walking contradiction -- literally. Beyonce, who is currently on a very public vegan diet, was caught by cameras yesterday (Dec. 5) entering a vegan restaurant ... wearing real fur!

Accompanying husband Jay-Z to lunch at Native Foods in Los Angeles, Bey was dressed casually in quilted pants and a camouflage jacket. The Christopher Kane-designed parka, which retails for $3,500, features a large collar made of fox fur. Real fox fur. (Check out photos of Beyonce in the coat here.) The animal-unfriendly clothing couldn't have gone over well with her fellow diners.

On Dec. 3, Jay-Z and Beyonce began a 22-day challenge to eat a completely vegan, or plant-based, diet. "This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a plant-based breakfast everyday," Jay wrote on his blog. "It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought."

"It just feels right!" he continued. "So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress. Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please!"

Let's see if Beyonce is invited back to Native Foods after this rare misstep ...
