Big Time Rush are the golden boys of Nickelodeon, so it’s no surprise that they snagged the first orange carpet interview at the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards. And their revelation was a doozy!

The group, who toured with — and were eclipsed by — opening acts One Direction last year are set to hit the road again. It makes sense: the band has a new season of their self-titled TV show as well as a new record coming out.

“We have a new season coming, a new album and we may have a new tour,” James Maslow said with a grin. Whoa — did they just make a major summer tour announcement?! Maybe, maybe not, as they got cagey when asked for confirmation: Maslow quickly added, “I just feel like it’d be fun to go on tour this summer, that’s all I’m saying!”

BTR are nominated for the orange blimp for Favorite Music Group, so if they nab a trophy, hopefully they’ll be excited enough to reveal some more!
