Blac Chyna — hip hop video vixen, sometime model, enduring frenemy to the sisters Jenner-Kardashian — is now officially bound by blood to the reality TV clan. After a rumored pregnancy was announced by TMZ this morning (May 6), Ms. Chyna confirmed the happy news herself on Instagram.

Wait. Is this a new Muva Emoji from her bff Amber Rose?? I need to update my apps, stat.

In case you need a refresher on this messy family tree: Blac Chyna was once a good friend of Rob's sister Kim, and was engaged to Tyga — Rob's half-sister Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend — for two years. She and Tyga have a 3-year-old son, King Cairo, together. As Chyna fell out with the Kardashians, she used her social media channels to shade Tyga and Kylie's age-questionable union.

Meanwhile, Rob Kardashian was shying away from the Hollywood spotlight after years on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and competing on Season 13 of Dancing With the Stars in 2011. His sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian have, both in the media and on KUWTK, loudly and repeatedly announced that he was basically throwing his life away, as he struggled with weight gain, diabetes and rumored depression — which he didn't want to sort out on a national cable network, for some weird reason.

Left metaphorically standing alone in a world so cold, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian found their way to each other around January of this year, when photos of them being generally adorable together starting popping up on Chyna's Instagram feed. They decided to make it permanent just months afterward, becoming engaged on April 5.

Given that America loves a classic redemption story, the ensuing narrative generally goes as follows: Blac Chyna is helping Rob reclaim his health, while his love and support helps her avoid the type of behavior that led to her January arrest for public intoxication and drug possession at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. A nine-month gestation period will help with that too...right?

May their growing family's prosperity endure — we look forward to baby Chyna-Kardashian's probable E! reality show in 2036.
