Two years after their splashy debut with 2016's Square One and Square Two, BlackPink have returned with their third Korean-language EP, Square Up. The highly anticipated project, released on Friday (June 15), includes four tracks: "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Forever Young," "Really," and "See U Later."

It marks the third installment of the K-pop stars' Square series, and their fourth effort to date, following a self-titled Japanese EP last year. According to BlackPinks' record label, YG Entertainment, Square Up means "Let’s fight," as the group has said they wanted to "show their stronger side" this time around.

"BlackPink made a new challenge, and we would like to show that we made it ours," Jisoo explained, per Metro News, adding that they also wanted to "display various colors."

Continued Lisa: ‘Since it’s our comeback in a while, we wanted to make everything perfect. We put our best in everything, including our performances, outfits, and maintenance. All four songs have their own unique charms."

And according to Blinks — the name for BlackPink's rabid fan base  — they've certainly delivered.

"VISUAL QUEENS!! IM SO GAYYYY RN AAACCCKKKK" wrote one Twitter user of their music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU," also released on Friday. Added another: "Lisa just saved the music industry."
