Pop-punk veterans Blink-182 confirmed in a new radio interview that their new album will drop in September, in the middle of the group's co-headlining stint with My Chemical Romance on the Honda Civic Tour.

Speaking to Wild 95.5 in West Palm Beach, Florida, guitarist Tom DeLonge told Blink fans when they can expect to hear new singles and the full album. "We'll release a bunch of music before the tour," he said, "And then we'll be dropping the album right smack-dab in the middle of the tour, sometime in September, I believe."

DeLonge confirmed the band has chosen an album title, though the interviewer neglected to ask for the specifics. DeLonge also told fans what's in store on the upcoming tour: "You can expect some really amazing genital jokes. You'll see lots of big flashing lights. You will see me a little bit wet from sweating, so I'll be glistening under the light. And I'll probably not be sober."

Bassist Mark Hoppus joined DeLonge for part of the interview, which mostly featured silly questions like, "Which celebrity would you most like to punch in the face?" (Hoppus' tongue-in-cheek reply: Dakota Fanning.)

Though he was absent from the phone interview, Blink's longtime drummer Travis Barker will join the group on tour. Barker spent the winter promoting his solo album on Lil Wayne's I Am Music II Tour.
