The three members of boy band the Answer road-tripped it up to Seattle from Salt Lake City to audition for a spot on the 'X Factor' on tonight's premiere episode.

The three gents -- named Grant, P.J. and Jared -- looked like they had just walked off the set of 'Glee.' Their current jobs included copy guy, fast-food worker and lounge singer, so they were really looking at 'X Factor' as their chance for a big break.

When they hit stage, they buttered up judge Nicole Scherzinger by singing a snippet of 'Happy Birthday' to her.

Then it was time for their real performance, and they started out with Adele's smash hit 'Rolling in the Deep' and mashed it up with Britney Spears' 'Til the End of the World.' Perhaps they got the idea from the popular mashup of the two tunes that surfaced earlier this year.

While their voices were nothing spectacular, they managed to wow the judges with their energy and personality. The Answer got exactly the answer they wanted to hear from the judges -- a unanimous 'yes.'
