Bridget Kelly – Artist to Watch in 2013

Bridget Kelly is an R&B singer on Roc Nation -- you could say she's the soulful side to the label's pop side with singer Rita Ora.

The New York native was signed to Jay-Z's company in 2008 and has been waiting patiently for her time in the spotlight. Since her signing, she has toured with Hov and released an EP called 'Every Girl.'

The 26-year-old songbird describes her sound as a mixture of R&B, soul and rock. Kelly's latest single is 'Special Delivery,' a heartbreak song in which she writes a Dear John letter to her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend telling him that her love has expired.

"My music is kind of bold," she tells The Boombox. "I say a lot of things that I think a lot of woman would like to say, but don't necessarily know how to say, or just won't say period because they're scared or uncomfortable. I'm more than happy being the voice of all the women who are crazy and insane and emotionally wreckless."

Imagine that, a singer with attitude and a whole lotta soul.
