Rather than simply selling an arm and a leg to put together her new 'Hold It Against Me' video, Britney Spears made money -- the 'Circus' singer reportedly pulled in half of a million dollars in profit from the new music video thanks to plenty of product placement.

Spears inadvertently pumps a few products in the 'Hold It Against Me' Video, which premiered last week. In a few scenes, she's seen using her own Radiance perfume, Make Up Forever eyeshadow, and Sony products. But the biggest cash cow is an endorsement from Plentyoffish.com -- an online dating site that laid down a hefty six figures to be featured in the pop icon's latest, according to TMZ.

This wouldn't be the first time that Brit has started a wave, but we have to wonder if this Superbowl-style business will be the next big trend in music videos.
