Britney Spears took home the Moonman trophy for Best Pop Video for the clip for her song 'Till the World Ends' at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards tonight in Los Angeles.

The superstar singer was presented the award by Nicki Minaj and newly svelte comedic actor Jonah Hill. In a bit of a surprise, Britney's dance laden video beat out popular vids by Katy Perry, Adele, Bruno Mars and Pitbull for the honor.

Dressed in a sparkly black dress, Britney kissed her boyfriend Jason Trawick before she made it up the stage steps to accept the trophy.

"I wasn't expecting this," said Britney in her speech. "First, I'd like to thank God for blessing me so much. My beautiful family. My two boys -- Jayden and Preston -- mommy loves you so much, babies … Ray Kay for directing this amazing video. To all of my fans. And Jason, I love you."
