Britney Spears Debuts Brunette Hair at Elton John Oscar Party

Blondes don't always have more fun. Just ask Britney Spears, who debuted a new brunette 'do at Elton John's Oscar party last night (Feb. 24.)

Brit has rocked chocolate locks before, most recently in 2010, but this particular shade and wavy texture is more sophisticated than any brown look she's ever worn before.

The thicker texture and glossy sheen give Brit a youthful energy and after so many years as a blonde, she looks chic. Her recent heavy and piecey bangs and ill-fitting extensions, which she wore during her 'X Factor' judging stint, looked sloppy and unpolished.

This? This looks natural and beautiful on her.

Plus, she's showing a lil' sideboob as she has moved on from fiance Jason Trawick. They say that you shouldn't make any drastic changes to your looks or your hair when rebounding and recovering from a relationship implosion, but Brit proves that theory W-R-O-N-G.
