Britney Spears is in New York City right now preparing for her upcoming performance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (August 28), and amid rehearsals and dining at Sarabeth's, the pop star stopped by NYC's 103.5 KTU Radio for a quick promotional interview. And boy, was it Glory-ously candid.

When asked about her late Thursday night (August 25) appearance on James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" segment, the "Make Me" singer admitted that despite how fun it looked jamming to hits like "Womanizer" and "...Baby One More Time" on camera, the experience was actually quite awkward.

"Everybody [is] talking about 'Carpool Karaoke,' which aired on Thursday night. How fun was that?" radio host Cubby asked her.

"Yeah, it was fun, it was really fun. The guy was just so incredibly sweet. I had no idea he has kids, he's a teddy bear. I was like, 'I just want to hug you right now,'" Spears responded sweetly, before opening up about how weird filming was.

"It was a little awkward, like driving by grocery stores. People walk by and there are like 18 cameras around us. 'This is just so awkward,'" she said, laughing.

When asked if she knew which songs Corden would play during the karaoke session, the performer admitted that she didn't have much choice when it came to selecting the track list.

"Well, he controlled the whole thing, and sometimes I got onto him and said, 'I don't want to hear that song again'. They didn't show that part... Of course [I didn't want to hear] '...Baby' and 'Oops'!" Spears lamented, adding, "Oh my God, and he kept playing them. He put a wig on for it. Yeah, I totally went along with it."

During the radio interview, the pop superstar also dished on what it like was meeting presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas back in February.

"She was very very interesting," Spears told KTU. "Bill Clinton was there. And we're all like... laughing."

So, what did she and the potential future president chat about during their little get-together?

"One of my friends was like, 'What were you talking about?'...We were talking about food the whole time! So yeah, she's a great lady. She knows what's up."

Spears also responded to rumors (or hope, rather) that she might perform at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, revealing that she'd be game to headline the event, despite how much "training and work" (b---h) would go into preparing for that particular performance.

"I've never done that before, it would be intimidating. It would be fun though!" she gushed, adding that she'd love to bring the "genius, brilliant" Aerosmith onstage with her.
