Last week (Friday, Dec. 2), pop superstar Britney Spears turned 30. While many of her flans flocked to her social media sites to wish the singer a happy birthday, one site in particular decided to spin the love around by releasing a new Spears song called 'Love 2 Love U.'

According to Spears' fan site, BreatheHeavy (via Idolator), the song is an older tune that had never seen the light of day. They posted this on their site Friday, the same day when Spears entered into her 30s:

"[Britney] is a girl who stays strong through the toughest of times, yet continues to carry on with a positive attitude and inspires millions of people around the world. She is truly my favorite artist and gives me strength and passion for craft. Britney gave me this song ‘Love 2 Love U’ several years ago, and am very happy to be able to share it with fans today. Happy Birthday, Brit. We love ya."

The tune is said to be an older song that Spears recorded, although the time frame when the song was cut is in question. The song (which can be heard below) may sample the melody from Madonna's 1987 hit single, 'La Isla Bonita,' paired with sirens -- but fans who have heard the new tune don't seem to care ... They love every second of it!
