While Britney Spears is reportedly still knee-deep in 'X Factor' negotiations, another deal is supposedly on the table for the singer, this one for a multi-week residency at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that Brit's manager Larry Rudolph is in discussions with the top brass at the hotel as they try and work out a deal that'll bring Brit to Sin City for several weeks of shows. Hard rockers Motley Crue enjoyed a two-week residency in February where they played several nights in a row in what amounted to the most successful shows in the hotel's history, according to a source.

The hotel hopes to improve the fan experience by offering direct access to celebs. Instead of standing outside, wishing you could meet or take a photo with your fave famous person, you can do that and much more with this program. The source continued, "People will be able to rub shoulders with the celebs. Gone are the days of hiding them behind velvet ropes. You'll be able to gamble with DJ Pauly D, have dinner with Britney and have drinks with Motley Crue."

If the deal does go through, Brit Brit would perform at The Joint, which is the Hard Rock's concert venue. It holds about 4,000 people. A source said, "The queen of pop will be the queen of the Hard Rock if all goes according to plan."
