The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are coming in just a few weeks — and Britney Spears is about to be honored in a major way at this year's ceremony.

The chart-topping Living Legend is set to receive the Millennium Award, meant to honor "outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry," at this year's ceremony on Sunday, May 22, live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on ABC at 8 PM ET.

To celebrate that achievement, the In The Zone icon is going to be performing a medley of her hits. (Which ones? She's got five Hot 100 No. 1 records and over 20 Top 40 hits — we'll just have to wait and see.)

According to the Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach, who correctly came through with the promise of Billboardney news today, Britney will soon be premiering her new single from her upcoming ninth studio album, "Make Me (Oooh)."

B-Girl's no stranger to the BBMAs: She kicked off her career as the American Dream since she was 17 at the 1999 ceremony with "...Baby One More Time" and "(You Drive Me) Crazy" (plus a casual back handspring), opened the 2001 show with "I'm A Slave 4 U" in the middle of the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel (Vegas residency foreshadowing!) and beamed in with Iggy Azalea for a performance of "Pretty Girls" just last year. She also showed up to the 2000 ceremony looking like this. Queen of cool and funky fashion!

Previous recipients of Billboard's Millennium Award include Whitney Houston and Beyoncé. Legends only.

Hold on tight (tite), Britney Army: the new era is coming soon.
