It's official! Nicki Minaj and her wonderfully wild wig collection will be joining Britney Spears on her 2011 summer tour. Rumors have been circulating about the Harajuku Barbie signing on to the tour, and now TMZ is reporting the ink on the deal is dried and Minaj will indeed be opening for Brit this summer.

A couple of weeks ago, Britney announced on 'Good Morning America' that Enrique Iglesias would be going on tour with her as an opening act this summer. However, just hours before the show aired on March 29 -- the same day Spears released 'Femme Fatale' -- Iglesias withdrew from the tour. Sources are reporting that, apparently, Iglesias didn't like the idea of being an opening act.

Despite all of this, we think Britney is better off without Iglesias. Nicki Minaj will undoubtedly be a great fit for the tour, as both she and Brit will bring the girly factor to an all-time high, delivering sexy, entertaining and theatrical performances while incorporating amazing costume changes.
